As an IT Auditor within the Internal Control and Compliance Division, the incumbent’s primary responsibility is to assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's IT systems, controls, and processes. The IT Auditor will play a crucial role in ensuring that the NBFI's IT infrastructure is aligned with regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and the organization's risk appetite.

Job Responsibility

• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in the IT environment, including cybersecurity threats, operational risks, and compliance risks
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls, such as access controls, segregation of duties, and change management procedures
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks, industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, COBIT), and internal policies and procedures
• Review the organization's IT governance framework, including the role of the board of directors, management, and IT department in overseeing IT activities
• Develop and execute comprehensive IT audit plans, including scoping, fieldwork, and reporting
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports, summarizing findings, recommendations, and management responses
• Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and recommendations arising from audits
• Implement continuous monitoring techniques to identify emerging risks and trends
• Provide advisory services to management on IT-related matters, such as IT strategy, risk management, and compliance

Job Requirements

Education

Graduation from a reputed university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00

Experience

1-2 years of experience in relevant field is preferred

Other

Experience working in IT audit/consultancy in any Chartered Accountancy/IT consultancy firm or relevant IT certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP etc.) are preferable.
