Role Overview:

As the Head of Finance at 10 Minute School, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and future direction of our organization. You will collaborate closely with the Management Team to drive financial initiatives, optimize resources, and support our mission of providing innovative educational solutions. Responsibilities:

Financial Management and Strategy

• Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Create detailed financial models to support decision-making and funding proposals.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial performance.
• Oversee financial reporting, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders.

Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management

• Manage external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Implement audit recommendations and continuously improve financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks.

Investor Relations Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for investors, fostering strong relationships.
• Prepare and present financial reports and updates to investors and the board.

Cash Flow Management

• Monitor cash flow and liquidity, optimizing working capital management.
• Implement cash flow forecasting to support financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA or ACCA qualification preferred
• At least 8-10 years of experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Experience working in multi-national companies like banks, telecommunication, or FMCG is highly desirable.
• Experience working as a Finance Manager, Finance Controller, or similar role.
• Track record of playing multiple roles throughout the career
• Strong corporate finance experience.
