What we are looking for:
We are looking for a Head of Finance who will oversee all financial operations and provide strategic financial leadership to the company. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s growth objectives, ensuring financial integrity, and optimizing financial performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial principles, and the ability to lead and inspire a finance team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
- Provide insights to the CEO and executive team.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Oversee accurate financial statements and reports.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrections.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and governance.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Liaise with auditors and stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop the finance team.
- Set goals, provide feedback, and support development.
- Align financial goals with other departments.
- Enhance efficiency with financial systems.
- Ensure robust controls and safeguard assets.
- Drive process improvements in financial operations.
Core qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial modeling.
- Proven experience in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
