The Daily Star is looking for an efficient, innovative and result-oriented Executive/Sr. Executive, Finance.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and follow up on smooth Import Operations and Cost Management.
3. Provide timely and accurate financial information and recommendations to decision-makers for prudent business decisions.
4. Collect, analyze, and manage data to create meaningful reports that drive business improvements and cost reductions.
5. Support the development and maintenance of weekly and monthly financial reporting and planning.
6. Evaluate current project spending and provide ad-hoc reports on expense rates.
7. Support sales and marketing with customer proposals, pricing, and opportunity forecasting.
8. Report and analyze monthly spend variances at the cost center level, liaising with cost center owners.
9. Oversee operations concerning the Customs Act, Import Policy, Insurance, and other related laws applicable to imports.
10. Handle all import activities with the bank, including loan sanction, renewal, repayment, LC, purchase, maturity payment, etc.
11. Manage import accounts and inventory.
12. Create various MIS reports as per management requirements.
Educational Requirements:
· Graduation in Finance from any reputed university.
· Candidate having CMA Partly completed are highly encouraged to apply.
Experience Requirements:
· Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in similar role.
Job Requirements:
· Skill in Advanced MS Excel is mandatory.
· Candidates with strong initiative and are dynamic, self-committed, hardworking, quick learner & able to work independently are encouraged to apply.
· Having banking knowledge for import procedures is a must.
· Should have good written and spoken English and Bangla communication skills
