Education
- Masterâs degree in Accounting or Finance or any other related subject.
Experience
- At least 5 years
Additional Requirements
- Preferred partly qualified Accounting Professional of recognized accounting body (CA/CIMA/CMA);
- At least 5 five years of relevant experience in Finance and Accounts. Experience with NGOs will be given preference;
- Experience in successful implementation of a wide range of responsibilities in a prior administrative and financial services position, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities;
- Superior interpersonal abilities. Ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful, mature, flexible;
- Good reasoning abilities, Sound judgment.
- General Requirements:
- Willingness & ability to visit program sites extensively across the country as required;
- Skill & experience of working with e-communication & people with diverse culture;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both in Bangla and English;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Office, Excel, PowerPoint, internet access, etc.
- Ability to work under pressure,
- Comfortable in a performance-based organization working with low overhead budget;
- Proven track record of achieving results;
Job Location

Responsibilities & Context
- Administrative and Accounts Management
- Document financial transactions by entering account information and secure financial information by completing database backups;
- Maintain accounts and prepare guidelines for project monitoring;
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information,
- Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements;
- Ensure appropriate documentation and record keeping and accounting systems, in the recommended software complying with projectsand financial guideline;
- Appraise, evaluate and maintain inventory of the real property and equipment, recording information such as the property's description, value, and location;
- Maintain human resource related data base and prior action for staff redevelopment and ensure service as required;
- Maintain coordination and communication with other sectors/ divisions of DAM;
- Facilitate the process of approval of bills & vouchers as per budget line items;
- Ensure regular communication and reporting support to the project in line with the project proposal, project work plan, project olbudgetunder the direct supervision of JD, CC &DRR Sector.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards;
- Prepare periodic financial report in proper time and proper way;
- Prepare financial report as per recommend reporting system;
- Develop, maintain, and analyze budget, prepare periodic financial reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs;
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
