Job Purpose
Ensure corporate sales of BRAC Seeds through business relation with corporate houses, GOs and NGOs along with technical support and need based training to formalize alternative trade channel.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities of corporate sales through business research of different public and private organizations, NGOs, donor agencies in the country and abroad.
- Formulate yearly sales target for direct (corporate houses, GOs, NGOs) and indirect (coordination with BRAC’s seeds sales team) channel to bring the business of BRAC Seed and Agro Enterprise.
- Organize and execute of the sales plan for corporate houses, GOs and NGOs to achieve yearly sales target.
- Collect the money from different organizations against the sales.
- Explore export market opportunities for future expansion of BRAC Seed’s business along with yearly sales target preparation for and execute the operation of export.
- Prepare promotional budget for corporate sales based on market opportunity and product support.
- Facilitate delivery of supply to clients working in connection with supply chain department with customers’ satisfaction and ensure buyers’ payment against supply made in due time.
- Ensure training support to the stakeholders as per need.
- Frequently visit the corporate houses and participate in different training programs
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Job Requirements
Product Selection ability, Annual budget preparation, Pricing of the product, Trial & Demonstration for selecting product, Training, Report writing etc.
Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agri Inputs (Bio-pesticides, Bio-fertilizer, Micronutrient fertilizer and PGR, Marketing and Sales Plan, Promotional Activity Plan, Project Management, Business Research etc.
Leadership: Self-assessment, Sharp perception, Responsive to the group’s needs, Knowing the organization, Team building, Risk taking, Vision and goal setting etc.
Functional: Advising, Coordination of Work, Counseling, Data Analysis, Financial Accountability, Facilitation etc.
Educational Requirements
The candidate should have BSc/MSc in Agriculture or BBA/MBA in Marketing or any discipline with CGPA 2.5/ 2nd class or equivalent result in all academic examinations from any recognized university/institutions. (Age, Education and Experience will be relaxed for the potential candidates).Experience Requirements
At least 5-8 years sales experience in seed industry or Agro Products Sales and marketing in any reputed organization. Experience on corporate sales will get preference.Benefits
